Description

Zinnat Suspension 250mg/5ml contains Cefuroxime Axetil, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is used to treat bacterial infections such as throat infections, sinusitis, middle ear infections, lung infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections. It works by killing bacteria that cause these infections. Dosage/Direction Adults and children over 12 years: 250 mg to 500 mg twice daily. Children (3 months-12 years): 10 mg/kg twice daily, up to a maximum of 250 mg per dose. Infants under 3 months: Not recommended. Administration: Take with food to enhance absorption. Shake well before use. Side Effects Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and rash. Serious side effects may include allergic reactions, severe dizziness, and difficulty breathing. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins.
