Description

Vedrox Dry Syrup 100ml contains Cefadroxil, a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is used to treat bacterial infections in various parts of the body, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections. Cefadroxil works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, thereby treating the infection. Dosage/Direction Adults and children over 12 years: 500 mg to 1 g every 12 hours. Children (6-12 years): 30 mg/kg/day in divided doses every 12 hours. Children under 6 years: As prescribed by a doctor. Administration: Take with or without food. Shake well before use. Side Effects Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and rash. Serious side effects may include allergic reactions, severe dizziness, and difficulty breathing. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins.
