Description

Pepto-Bismol 118ml contains bismuth subsalicylate, which is used to treat diarrhea, nausea, heartburn, indigestion, gas, or upset stomach. It works as an antacid to reduce excess stomach acid and protect the stomach lining. Dosage/Direction: Shake the bottle well before use. Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 30ml (2 tablespoons) every 30 minutes to 1 hour as needed. Do not exceed 8 doses (240ml) in 24 hours. Use the provided measuring cup for accurate dosing. Not recommended for children under 12 years without medical advice. Side Effects: Common: Darkening of the stools or tongue, which is harmless and temporary. Serious: Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing), hearing loss, severe constipation.
