LANTUS SoloStar 3ml contains insulin glargine, a long-acting insulin used to control high blood sugar in people with diabetes mellitus. It helps maintain stable blood sugar levels over a 24-hour period, reducing the risk of complications associated with diabetes. Dosage/Direction: Administer subcutaneously once daily at the same time each day. The dosage is individualized based on the patient’s needs, blood sugar levels, and doctor’s recommendations. Rotate injection sites to prevent lipodystrophy. Do not mix with other insulins or solutions. Side Effects: Common: Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), injection site reactions (redness, swelling, itching), weight gain.
