Description

Dazolic 500mg Tablets contain ornidazole, an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent used to treat various infections of the gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, and genital areas caused by anaerobic bacteria or amoeba. It is also used for the prevention of post-operative infections. Ornidazole works by damaging the DNA of bacteria and protozoa, leading to their death. Dosage/Directions Take one Dazolic 500mg tablet orally every 12 hours, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed, even if symptoms improve. Avoid consuming alcohol during treatment, as it may increase the risk of adverse effects. Side Effects Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, and dizziness. Serious side effects may include liver problems, severe allergic reactions, and peripheral neuropathy. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, severe abdominal pain, or persistent diarrhea.
