Description

Vaxigrip Tetra is a quadrivalent influenza vaccine designed to provide protection against four strains of the influenza virus. It contains two influenza A strains (H1N1 and H3N2) and two influenza B strains, offering comprehensive coverage during flu season. Vaxigrip Tetra is indicated for use in adults and children over six months of age, aiming to reduce the risk of developing influenza and its associated complications. The vaccine stimulates the body’s immune response to help prevent influenza infection. Dosage/Direction: Vaxigrip Tetra is administered via intramuscular injection. For most individuals, a single dose (0.5 mL) is sufficient. Children receiving the vaccine for the first time may require a second dose administered at least four weeks after the first. It’s recommended to receive the vaccine before the flu season begins, ideally in the fall.
