Description

Unibrol 250mg Tablets contain Aminosidine (Paromomycin), an aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against various protozoa and bacteria. These tablets are used to treat intestinal infections such as amoebiasis, cryptosporidiosis, and giardiasis. Unibrol is also utilized in the management of hepatic encephalopathy and for preoperative intestinal sterilization. Dosage/Direction For adults, the typical dosage is 500mg (2 tablets) twice daily for 6 days. For children, the dosage is 15mg/kg/day for 6 days. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Side Effects Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps. Prolonged use may lead to malabsorption syndrome or supra-infection. If severe side effects occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider immediately.
