Description

Podosol Paint 10g contains Podophyllum resin, a topical treatment primarily used for the removal of anogenital warts (condylomata acuminata) and plantar warts. Podophyllum resin works by destroying the tissue of the warts, causing them to blanch and eventually slough off. This treatment is effective for both external genital and perianal warts. Dosage/Directions Anogenital warts: Apply once weekly. Apply a small amount to the wart, leave for 1-6 hours, then wash off. Plantar warts: Apply three times weekly. Apply a small amount to the wart, cover with a plaster, and change daily. Protect surrounding healthy skin with a corn ring or a layer of vaseline before application. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully. Side Effects Common side effects include local irritation, redness, and itching.
