Description

Dynacort 18mg Tablets contain Deflazacort, a corticosteroid used to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in adults and children aged 2 years and older. Deflazacort helps improve muscle strength and slow the progression of disability. It is also used to treat various inflammatory conditions such as asthma, arthritis, and allergies by reducing inflammation and modulating the immune response. Dosage/Directions Take one Dynacort 18mg Tablet once daily, preferably in the morning with food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding the duration of treatment. Do not stop taking the medication abruptly without consulting your doctor. Side Effects Common side effects include increased appetite, weight gain, increased body hair growth, and sleep problems.
