Description
Diprogenta Cream is a combination medicine used to treat various types of skin infections. It contains two active ingredients: Betamethasone dipropionate and Gentamicin sulfate. Betamethasone dipropionate is a synthetic corticosteroid that has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic (anti-itch), and vasoconstrictive (narrowing of blood vessels) properties. Gentamicin sulfate is an antibiotic that has a broad spectrum of activity against many gram-negative and some gram-positive bacteria. This cream is used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, boils, rashes, minor cuts or wounds, burns, or skin ulcers. It minimizes symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching, and also has antimicrobial action against infection-causing microorganisms. Please note that Diprogenta Cream is for external use only. It’s important to clean and pat dry the area before applying this medicine. Also, avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it. Remember, it’s always important to follow your healthcare provider’s instructions when using this medication. If your skin problem does not improve even after seven days of treatment, inform your doctor.
