Description: Diclogenta Eye Drops contain the active ingredient diclofenac sodium, which is a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic properties. These eye drops are primarily used to reduce swelling, pain, and light sensitivity after certain eye surgeries. They belong to the class of ophthalmic anti-inflammatory agents. Diclofenac ophthalmic may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide. Dosage and Directions: For postoperative ocular inflammation, instill 1 drop into the affected eye 4 times per day, starting 24 hours after cataract surgery and continuing throughout the first 2 weeks of the post-operative period. In cases of inflammation and discomfort after strabismus surgery, follow this dosing schedule: First week: 1 drop 4 times daily Second week: 1 drop 3 times daily Third week: 1 drop 2 times daily Fourth week: Use as required1.
